How does Laser Hair Removal work?
Laser hair removal uses a laser machine which produces a beam of concentrated light which is then absorbed by the colour/pigment in the hair follicle which then damages the base and prevents it growing

How many treatments will I need?
Due to the growth stages that all hair goes through, you will require a number of treatments. You will be advised on how many treatments are likely to be needed but on average we say 6-8 sessions, 4-8 weeks apart.
All hair growth cycles are slightly different and some women, at a mature stage in their life, will sometimes find that some small hairs will appear gradually over time due to increased hormone activity.

How long does each session last?
It will be dependent on which area you are having hair removed. For example, underarm hair will take approximately 5 minutes.
Does Laser Hair Removal hurt ?

Will I see immediate results from the first Laser Hair Removal session?
Yes, and the hairs treated will fall out naturally over a period of between 7 and 21 days. A course of treatments will be required in order to achieve long term/ permanent hair removal as your body hair as a natural growth cycle.
Will I need to prepare for my first treatment of Laser Hair Removal?
We ask all patients to shave the day before treatment and we will clean the are before treating you.
When is the best time to have the Laser hair removal treatment?
Laser hair removal cannot be done whilst you are actively tanning. Therefore we recommend that you begin the course of treatments during the winter months. However, if the area you are having treated is not exposed to the sun then there is no harm in having the treatment anytime of the year.
