What is a Non-Surgical Eyebrow Lift ?

An advanced Non-Surgical Eyebrow Lift, using PDO threads and Cogs. Theses threads are the same threads used in cardiac surgery and have been developed to be used for many reasons within aesthetic medicine.This treatment is particularly effective in treating a drooping or hooded eye-lid and creating a youthful forehead, it is a more natural look that using Toxin (botox) to create a lift and lasts a lot longer.

How does the Non-Surgical Eyebrow Lift work ?

Fine PDO cog threads are inserted just under the skin in the forehead and brow. This creates a gentle lift and rejuvenation of the area. The PDO threads remain in the skin and dissolve naturally after 6-9 months, although the results last longer due to the collagen and elastin production.

Is it painful ?

local anaesthetic is used making this procedure comfortable, it is not pain free but not as uncomfortable as patients imagine.

What are the side effects to the?

Redness, swelling and  occasionally some bruising to the area, which can last 7-10 days. It can usually be covered up with make up. The area is tender to touch for 7-10 days.

Are there any contraindications ?

The brow lift is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, breast feeding or under going any treatment for cancer.

How long does the procedure take ?

Numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes, the procedure itself takes around 20 mins. An hour long appointment is required.

How long do the effects last for ?

Every body is different but between 12-36 months.
