Laser Vascular Introduction
Vascular disorders ( as they are medically described) such as thread veins (often called spider veins), cherry spots, and broken capillaries, either red or bluish in colour are a common theme.
Areas commonly affected are the face, neck, chest and lower extremities such as the legs, ankles and feet. Rosacea affects the face, typically on the cheeks and bridge of the nose.
Additionally, we are registered and inspected by the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), as required by law in Wales for any facility offering laser or IPL hair removal. Ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for our patients,
It works by utilising focused beams of light to target the hemoglobin in the blood vessels, causing them to coagulate and collapse. Over time, the body naturally absorbs and eliminates the damaged vessels, resulting in clearer and smoother skin. Laser vascular treatment is commonly used on the face and legs, areas prone to visible vascular issues. While multiple sessions may be required for optimal results, the procedure is generally well-tolerated with minimal discomfort and downtime. It offers individuals a safe and effective solution for improving the appearance of vascular lesions, enhancing their confidence and self-esteem.

You will be booked in after 48 hours for your first full treatment.
At your first full session a quick recap of consultation is given.
Specialised eyewear will be given and ice or cooling used on some patients depending on colouring of area and pain management. This is based on the laser expert Micheal Murphy Method.
Pre-cooling, during and post cooling is most commonly used on the face. Skin types two and above, as these skin types are more prone to natural skin discolouration. The ice will reduce the heat felt by the patient whilst staying at the regular setting achieving a more consistent overall result.
