PRP For Hair Loss Introduction
PRP is a non-surgical procedure for hair regrowth. It’s best used for the treatment of thinning hair and slowing or stopping hair loss.
The procedure works by drawing blood from your arm, which is then placed in a device called a centrifuge. This centrifuge then spins the blood and separates the plasma that is rich in platelets from it. These platelets contain growth factors, which help heal aged and damaged hair follicles.
When we inject the PRP, it will stimulate your body to promote healing and grow healthy new hair follicles, leading to increased hair growth.
PRP tackles both male and female pattern baldness and alopecia it encourages the growth of your existing hair follicles making your hair appear fuller and healthier without resorting to surgery. It is therefore the most natural way to stimulate hair growth.
Why choose PRP ?
Hair loss generally is caused by a lack of cell renewal in the scalp – which makes PRP the perfect treatment as it stimulates the production of new healthy cells. It is a simple and totally natural using only your own bodies benefits to heal and restore.
PRP provides safe and reliable results and has a very quick recovery period. Only a small amount of blood is taken as though you are having your routine blood testing and local anesthesia is used, so you experience very minimal discomfort.
