Radiesse® Treatment Process
After a comprehensive consultation to discuss your concerns and goals and correct treatment plan, the dermal fillers process is as follows:
On the day of treatment topical anesthetic cream is applied to numb the area this takes 20-30 minutes and ensures the treatment is as comfortable as possible.
The dermal filler is then injected slowly with lots of reassurance, and in small amounts, allow you to look in the mirror frequently to ensure you end up with a satisfactory treatment and the desired result.

Before embarking on any treatment with dermal fillers it’s important to know your in safe hands. All our experts are medically trained, and we only use the best FDA approved and CE marked dermal fillers.
Not all practitioners have the same medical background and experience so it’s important to know who’s injecting you.
Yes, the CE certification is in European Union standards for product safety. Radiesse® is also approved by the FDA (the American regulatory authority). This product is used extensively in all high end clinics that what to offer excellent treatments to you their patients.
We use numbing cream to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Most patients describe it as mildly uncomfortable, with lips being a little stingy.
Jodie our Clinical Nurse Specialist will talk through how best to treat your concerns and together you will choice the best option and amount of product needed. The whole process takes around 45 minutes. You will notice the change instantly. This product offers the extra benefit of also increasing collagen.
The results last between 6-18 months depending on product selection and area being treated, also a patients lifestyle can affect the longevity of the treatment as certain activities/ lifestyle can speed up the breakdown of the dermal filler.
The results we aim to achieve give subtle natural results and therefore in majority of cases family and friends won’t notice dermal filler treatment. They will notice things like you looking refreshed or well or less tired without knowing the reason why.
You may experience some swelling and there is a possibility of bruising if you are someone that bruises easily. We advise not to exercise for 24 hours post treatment this is just down to comfort for you because you may feel a little bruised therefore exercise may aggravate it.
Risks associated with dermal fillers are commonly bruising and swelling, this is expected when having an injectable treatment. Very uncommon is vessel occlusion and an allergic reaction. Our clinic is set up to deal with either of these should they happen.
The dermal filler we use is very closely matched to how your own skin feels and moves due to this you shouldn’t actually feel the filler or any lumps. Lumps can occasionally occurs as a side effect, that settles after 1-2 weeks if not we would ask you to come back to the clinic for us asses and smooth the filler.
For 1.5ml the cost is £350
This is usually enough for the treatment. However if more is required then this cost will be discussed with you at your consultation.
